Ciele Athletics 2026 Apparel Previews

Okay, we're at Cel with Dan who's the

director of marketing. We've really been

enjoying a lot of the Ci apparel, of

course, hats. Uh, give us a tour of 2026

and a little history of the brand,

please.

Yeah, sure. I'll walk you through the

booth and show you some highlights, a

little bit about the brand. Uh,

athletics, we were founded in 2014 in

Montreal. Uh, we started in headwear. We

actually have uh the very first product

was our go cap standard. It was one

silhouette available in four four

colorways. This is Red Rocks colorway.

This is the last hat that came off of

the production run in 2014 when the

brand first launched.

Wow. That's my wife's favorite. She's

got that exact colorway. She wears it

all the time other than the bucket. Keep

going.

Amazing. So, this is what we started

with in 2014. Uh again, we we started in

headwear. We saw an opportunity to bring

technical features, rundriven designs to

the headwear space, what we felt was an

overlooked category. and uh also bring

intentional design. Make sure that we're

wearing things that are run specific,

packed with technical features, but

they're also, you know, what you would

wear to school, what you would wear to

work, out to a concert, coffee shop,

whatever it was. We wanted to make sure

that we had products that you could wear

uh for the entirety of your day. So, for

the first few years, really focused on

headwear. We launched our elite apparel

collection in 2022 and then expanded

that to a more comprehensive technical

apparel collection in 2023.

Being based in Montreal, we have

temperature swings from plus 35 and

humid in the summer to minus 35 and

absolutely freezing in the winter. So,

we felt it was really imperative that we

launched a cold weather collection as

well to making sure that people aren't

relegated to uh treadmills from November

through April in Montreal. So, the cold

weather collection came out uh in 2024,

first iteration, and then we added some

SK to that, some new styles to that in

2025, and obviously continuing to build

on that for 2026. So, given that's

something that is obviously a focus here

for us, uh we're showing both spring and

summer from 2026, but I can walk you

through a little bit of our cold weather

collection.

Okay,

so few core styles here. We have the VLV

half zip.

Um, a little bit more of a crop cut for

women and then for men. What we use in

here, and this is integrated in a lot of

our throughout a lot of our lineup, is

uh we have carbon embedded into the

fabric.

Uh, carbon is going to help with

temperature regulation. The if you have

a hot point, uh, what carbon will do is

it'll spread that heat over the entirety

of the fiber. So, it really helps

dissipate heat.

I have it. I've tested and reviewed it.

It's fantastic.

Excellent.

Excellent temperature regulation, a

little bit of wind resistance. It's like

ideal.

Perfect.

Perfect.

So, yes, what we've done here is we have

this engineered diamond grid pattern,

uh, high pile on this on the on the VB

halfsip that's going to help trap heat.

Um, but it is also going to pull heat

away from you and help dissipate. So,

it'll get you

throughout

the carbon, the darker lines that carbon

is integrated into that and it's

throughout the garment.

Okay. Um, and then the carbon is also

going to act as a natural uh anti odor.

And because as opposed to using it as a

finish, because we've integrated it into

the fabric, it is there for the entirety

of the product's life cycle. So, you're

still running in this in 20 years. The

temperature regulation is still got it

with me.

Amazing. So, this is a VLV half zip. We

also have a mock neck not on display

here. And then what we've done for

shoulder seasons when it's not quite as

warm is we've created this is a

coolmatic expleece.

This is coolatic exp damce light.

So it's a little bit harder to tell but

still that that diamond grid pattern

with just a lower pile.

Um less weight to it. This is a thinner

version of it.

Still carbon.

Still carbon. Yeah. So those same

technical features. This is just for

when it's a little bit warmer, sort of

as as winter is rolling in or when the

thaw is coming.

Uh but you still need something that's

going to keep you warm on your run.

Excellent.

This the IBT hoodie has a balaclava

hood. Um so if you start your run at

3:30 and then the sun sets and you uh

you're still out there.

Notice there's some venting.

Yeah. Everything I mean throughout the

entire collection, something that's

important to us, it's an aerobic sport.

Temperature regulation is key. So from

headwear apparel, we always want to make

sure that there are ways that excess

heat can evacuate.

Um same thing on

that VLV insulator. We have big heat

dumping air beam vent on the back. We

have coolmatic exp dam on the sides.

Um yeah, temperature regulation is

something that's that's very important

for us.

That's how you stay warm. It's not over.

You want to stay at the right

temperature. You don't want to overheat.

So the VLV insulator, this is our

um this is I guess yeah, this is our our

more of a jacket for winter running,

cold weather collection. Still have that

cool matic expleece on the sides.

What's the outer shell?

Um

that's it's a windresistant.

Yeah, wind resistant. Um I think there's

this there's a carbon neutral DWR on it.

Uh so you'll get a little bit of

environmental control on that. The

padding is we try to use as much as we

can. And we try to use natural fibers.

So as opposed to using

um a marino wool and synthetic uh fiber,

we are using marino wool and silk as a

padding

inside the garment.

Oh, so it's different than uh Yeah. Oh,

look at that. Okay. Yeah.

Yeah. Generally, you'll see marino wool

and nylon or another synthetic fabric

and the insulation is marino wool and

silk.

Ah, okay.

Hey, I just want to say something. Uh,

tell me the name again because I forgot.

But these are my favorite pants from you

guys.

We're wearing We're wearing the same

pants. We're wearing

Oh, yeah. Well, you got Oh, you got

patches, but yeah. What are they called

again?

The the ATW pant.

Yeah.

So, same thing here. There's DWR on the

front. Uh, there's articulated venting

in the knees. So, again, you can shed

that excess.

Really? They They're my favorite.

Yeah. Personal favorite, too. I love

these for winter running.

Great.

Um, also great for trade shows. Uh quick

can we quickly see the summer stuff

because

Yep. Yep. We can jump over there.

I'll have to go. But

so the elite collection we launched

again in 2022. Uh on the top side we

have the uh RCD t-shirt. We have the RD

and the RD singlet. We've upgraded these

for 2026. We have a new fabric that

we're introducing here. Switching to a

woven.

Then we have the

CRG tight short elite on the women's

side 3.5 in. Uh, lots of fuel pockets,

really nice compressive fabric, and then

we have the RD short.

Very nice.

Uh, there's a zero stitch liner on the

inside of this. It's welded. So, that's

something that is uh you you're not

seeing that anywhere else in the market.

Very soft.

Uh, there's a silver embedded into the

liner as well. So, that helps with anti-

odor. We got three pockets on the back.

Fuel pockets on the back. We have

another pocket in the front for stashing

a key.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And I saw yesterday a short tight.

Uh

yeah. So there was the the women's and

then on the men's side we have this one.

This is the CRG Elite uh tight short for

men.

Um and then new for 2026 we have the

Icon collection. So this is the Icon

crop singlet.

This is the men's

Wow.

Icon singlet.

Wow. So light. Again, we're embedding

really advanced technical fibers into

this. So, this has graphine embedded

into it.

Same as carbon. Graphine is going to

help with temperature regulation, anti-

odor. Um, this it's extremely

lightweight, really beautiful piece,

very nice feel against skin. So, for

those interval interval speed work days,

for race day, really perfect for that.

Uh, on the Elite collection, we have

carbon integrated into that as well. So,

again, and all of that, they're they're

not finishes, they're they're embedded

into the fabric. the built-in so it is

there for the forever.
