Okay, we are here at TR25
0:04
talking to Allan, the founder and CEO of
0:07
Made Plus and he's going to tell you
0:10
about the new running shoe made in
0:12
Annapolis.
0:13
That's right. Made right in America.
0:15
Well, we are here to debut our new
0:18
running shoe. This is our Ripple
0:22
and Ripple X1. X1 has a carbon fiber
0:25
plate from Carbiteex
0:27
and we have a full uh knit upper which
0:30
is a sock-l like feel made from six and
0:33
a half water bottles of recycled PET.
0:36
Uh we have expanded rubber foam
0:39
along with blown rubber nice grip t
0:43
pattern on the front
0:46
and of course made right in the USA. We
0:50
do bring in the components, but we do
0:52
all the knit upper in house, stock
0:54
fitting, uh, glue and assembly and ship
0:58
it to your home. Uh, we've been in the
1:00
business about four and a half years.
1:02
This is our first running shoe. We also
1:04
have a training shoe that we're also
1:05
debuting here along with a pickle ball,
1:08
excuse me,
1:10
uh, pickle ball shoe called the Banger
1:12
Pro. Our training shoe uses a very
1:16
similar technology of the expanded
1:18
rubber foam.
1:21
The training shoe just doesn't have the
1:22
plate.
1:23
It does not have the plate.
1:24
Okay.
1:24
And we offer the running shoe with with
1:27
plate. The stack height is uh I think
1:30
we're 32 in the heel or five drop. And
1:33
we have um what else am I missing?
1:36
How much does it weigh, Alan?
1:38
Oh, this is a
1:39
men's nine. the Yeah, with the men's
1:41
size 9, I think we're right at 10.1 O.
1:45
And I think with the one with the carbon
1:46
fire plate, we're like 10.3 O. Um, our
1:51
our uh training shoe is right around I
1:54
think 10.7 oz.
1:56
Okay. And what kind of foams are you
1:58
using?
1:59
This is a expanded rubber foam.
2:01
Okay.
2:02
And it has a little bit of recycled
2:03
content. So part of our mission is to
2:05
make shoes with less waste and less over
2:07
production. So, most of our shoes are
2:09
made to order. This shoe will drop May
2:12
1st of 2026, so spring summer. Uh, we do
2:16
have few sizes. We're wear testing with
2:19
uh athletes and so forth, but
2:21
essentially this will drop in the
2:23
spring.
2:23
Okay. Thank you. And you also make a
2:25
boat shoe.
2:26
Yes. Yes.
2:26
I live in Marblehead, Massachusetts. I
2:29
know a thing about boats.
2:30
Yes. Uh, Um, yes. So, we also do
2:35
uh this is our skiff 2. It has a
2:37
Michelin outsole on it. A real tight
2:40
siphon pattern. Great for sailing,
2:42
yaching. Uh also great for casual uh
2:45
business wire. Uh again, same technology
2:48
with the upper full knit. All our
2:50
products are upper full knit. Six and a
2:52
half water bottles. And then we use a PU
2:56
drop in midsole. So this is a fully
2:58
removable uh PU insole.
3:03
I have stuffing in here. Sorry.
3:05
Yeah. And uh you kind of see the big
3:07
stack height. We also offer this with a
3:09
cut siphon with a 3D printed kind of
3:11
orthotic.
3:12
But for now, we'll just talk about the
3:14
uh the PU drop in.
3:17
Okay,
3:20
that's very cool.
3:22
Yeah, sock light fit upper.
3:24
Great for space. We also offer
3:26
customization. So, a lot of our uh
3:29
orders about 60 60% of our orders are
3:31
all custom. So customers can mix and
3:34
match all the different components on
3:35
the shoe. Overlays, eye stays, laces, um
3:39
different cupsole patterns or colors,
3:41
excuse me, webbing color, and then uh we
3:44
offer etching for certain for certain
3:47
companies and certain enterprise who
3:49
want to put some sort of special on the
3:50
on the heel.
3:52
Okay. Thank you. You welcomes.
