0:00
update. We really started with that
0:02
athlete. We're really lucky to have a
0:04
robust testing network across the world
0:06
and we have our all conditions racing
0:08
department. Two of those athletes are
0:10
here
0:12
and it's really exciting. So yeah, give
0:13
it up for
0:19
them at the table afterwards if you have
0:21
any questions for them as it relates to
0:23
the product as well. Uh but they're a
0:25
really integral part of what we do and
0:27
helping us refine uh obsess every single
0:30
detail. So, as they're out there really
0:32
pushing the limits of human potential,
0:34
uh what's capable on the trails, when
0:36
they're chasing their next uh PR, course
0:38
record, pass the stone time or
0:40
everything in between uh and all the
0:42
training it takes to get there, we want
0:44
to make sure that we give them the tools
0:46
uh to keep them safe, comfortable,
0:48
stable, healthy, uh and the ability to
0:50
go as fast as they possibly can. So when
0:53
we started this uh we used the ATG or we
0:56
used the Zagama trail 2 as again that
0:58
starting point that jumping off point
1:00
and what our athletes told us
1:02
unanimously
1:03
with an amazing shoe. So we didn't
1:06
really want to change the toolkit that
1:07
much but again we know there's no finish
1:09
line. We're going to assess every single
1:11
detail and how we could evolve those. Uh
1:14
and so the team really set out to
1:15
maintain that toolkit of beaver mega
1:17
grip zumax and an engineered mesh upper
1:20
with that gator cup but assess those
1:23
fine-tuned details to really push this
1:25
uh into an even more wild or dare say
1:28
even more all conditions type space. And
1:30
so we did that through two ways. One was
1:31
one by four maximum cushioning. Uh and
1:34
so we really did that uh by kind of
1:36
unlocking Zumax. Caleb actually even
1:39
early on the process was like would you
1:41
guys uh maybe unlock more kind of the
1:43
magic of Max. So that was something the
1:45
team really sought out to do and I'll
1:47
talk about how we got after that. Uh and
1:49
then we really wanted to look at more
1:50
comfort. So we look at comfort as a
1:52
system particularly when you're out
1:53
there for hours even days sometimes with
1:56
some of these ultra endurance races we
1:58
call Zagama our all day and all night
2:00
shoe that's really meant to take you
2:01
those 100 mile plus ultra races. We know
2:04
comfort is paramount and for us in
2:06
footwear, comfort really starts with the
2:08
last. So comfort and fit are often times
2:11
used interchangeably. We're really
2:13
excited to introduce a new trail
2:15
specific last uh that is leveraging what
2:18
we use in trail lineup for years, but
2:21
making an even wider uh toe box. So we
2:24
know that that accommodated fit really
2:26
comes through that toe box width and
2:28
additional height. So it's something
2:29
we're really excited about. I have the
2:31
last over there. People are curious to
2:32
look at it.
2:33
So we really want to get after those two
2:35
levers. So again, we're maintaining that
2:38
feverish 4 and a half mil height. Uh and
2:41
then unlocking Zumx. So this is a newer
2:43
version of Zumx similarly used on the
2:45
ACG Ultrafly that's more durable. So we
2:48
can expose more of it. So ZoomX is an
2:50
incredibly compliant foam. It has to
2:53
travel a lot. So to compress and rebound
2:55
is what gives it that magic again that
2:58
responsiveness underfoot, but you kind
2:59
of need to unlock it. And so we needed
3:01
to make it more durable as well. So it's
3:03
lighter, more durable, and we're able to
3:05
expose more of it to again give more of
3:07
that magic benefit. So really excited
3:09
about that development. And then we have
3:11
our engineered mesh upper uh with a
3:14
gator and foot. So just maintaining
3:17
again that consistency while having a
3:19
wider, more accommodating toe box. Our
3:21
athletes have really loved this. Uh
3:23
tested incredibly well. Some of our
3:25
athletes have chosen to even race in it
3:27
uh throughout the the years and months
3:29
they've been testing it. So we're really
3:30
excited for accep
3:41
detail uh and we'd be happy to answer
3:42
any questions you have. So with that I
3:45
think we'll break uh and go to a bit of
3:47
our science fair here again racing road
3:51
back and ACG. So please have any
3:53
questions.
